The Young Minds Project
The Young Minds Project has been set up to host a network of support and activities for young people who are at risk. The project will provide mentoring, positive activities and an alternative to education. The Project aims to support any young person between 10 and 19, who may not be achieving their potential and may need some support. The project will support the core values of every child matters and youth matters paper in Milton Keynes. Mentoring will be the main theme throughout the three programmes the project offers. Young people are given the relevant support they may need to achieve their potential, through flexible programmes of support. Recent research through the Princes trust suggests mentoring can have a significant impact young people’s lives.
